College Credit Opportunities

IMPORTANT:  PSH does NOT guarantee that college credit earned in high school is transferable. Each college or university decides how they use the credits you earn in high school. Most schools have a minimum score or grade equivalent to consider the credit.

If you meet the requirements, colleges might:

   - Accept the credit and the grade earned; or
   - Give you credit, but without a grade; or
   - Let you skip the class without giving credit (as a pre-requisite); or
   -  not accept the credit at all.

Some colleges also limit how many credits you can transfer toward your degree.

To find out what a specific college does, review their official website for credit transfer policies, or reach out to the college admissions representative.

You can also use tools like Transferology or the University of Connecticut’s Credit Transfer Database to see how your credits might transfer—but remember, these tools are just guides, not guarantees.
